1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Shot by Midas ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services

Shot by Midas provides professional video production, photography, and content creation services including:

• Video production for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Professional photography for events and corporate branding
• Post-production and editing services
• Content strategy and consultation

3. Booking and Payment

Booking Process

Services are booked through our website, email, or phone. A booking is confirmed once we receive:

• A signed contract or written agreement
• Payment of the deposit (typically 50% of the total project cost)

Payment Terms

• Deposit: 50% due upon booking confirmation
• Final payment: Due before delivery of final files
• Late payments may incur additional fees
• All prices are in GBP unless otherwise stated

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Client Cancellations

• More than 14 days before the scheduled date: 50% deposit refunded
• 7-14 days before: 25% deposit refunded
• Less than 7 days: No refund

Our Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we must cancel, you will receive a full refund of any payments made.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Content Ownership

Upon full payment:

• You receive a license to use the final deliverables for your intended commercial purposes
• We retain copyright and the right to use the work in our portfolio and marketing materials
• Raw footage and outtakes remain our property unless otherwise agreed

Portfolio Usage

We reserve the right to display project work in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials unless explicitly stated otherwise in the contract.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate project briefs and requirements
• Securing necessary permissions for locations and talent
• Timely feedback and approval during the revision process
• Ensuring compliance with platform-specific content guidelines

7. Delivery and Revisions

Delivery Timeline

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity. We will communicate any delays promptly.

Revisions

• Most projects include 2 rounds of revisions
• Additional revisions may incur extra charges
• Major scope changes will require a new quote

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not responsible for third-party platform changes or policies

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and project details as confidential unless the work is approved for public portfolio use.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
